I am an Italian artist based in Berlin.

Art is a calling that took over my life at 17, in a dark period of losses and solitude, as an urge to survive. I’m a self-taught artist. Painting and drawing always came to me as a natural flow, from my heart to my hands.

My early works were an exact translation of my imagination, emerging from suggestions, dreams and distorted memories. The feminine figure was me, floating in a surreal overlapping of different realities.

At the age of 26, as I discovered digital art, a new, fascinating way to communicate entered my life. In 2010 I won the first prize, a personal exhibition, at “Ventipertrenta” international Festival for Digital Art in Italy.

I began to share my art on the web and my work was well received. This allowed me to pursue art not only for itself, but as a new channel of communication and expression. I evolved from focusing on my own private themes, to more meaningful messages that went beyond the personal. The titles are thought of as a value themselves, able to create a path into the art piece.

In 2013, I moved to Berlin. Within the stimulating context of this always changing town, where past, present and future coexist, I found the freedom to develop my artistic identity on three parallel tracks: drawing, painting and digital art.

Meanwhile, I started to create a collection of artistic jewelry, from recycled timepieces. Rather than considering this part of my work as something apart from my artistic process, the jewelry is for me a symbol, a way of remembering.

During these years I started to collaborate with some art galleries in Europe, USA and Australia, like Retrospect Galleries in Byron Bay.

Today I continue my artistic path, experimenting with new techniques and new media.

My art is driven by the need to understand where the very origin of human suffering lies. I've found, within this artistic research, an instrument to describe what I call a process of “disidentification” from the mechanisms of the mind. The aim is to convey the image into a symbol, in order to re-establish a connection with the inner harmony of the universe.
